The Los Angeles Lakers added Indiana’s Jalen Hood-Schifino, a strong presence at guard with upside as a defender, 17th overall in the first round of the 2023 NBA Draft. Hood-Schifino’s 216-pound frame and 6-foot-10-inch wingspan aids him as a solid rebounding guard. The former Team Thad Nation AAU star and Big Ten Freshman of the Year has been excelled at both guard spots since his prep level playing days.
