LSU’s Will Campbell began his career with one of his toughest tests. The 2024 Jacobs Blocking Trophy winner was matched up against FSU’s Jared Verse in his first career start. Verse went on to win the AP NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year award in 2024. The true freshman competed favorably in the team’s eventual 24-23 defeat.
