Michigan's Colston Loveland registered a career-high 56 receptions in 2024.

Over the course his career, Michigan’s Colston Loveland showed off a variety of skills in the Big Ten. He was frequently used in motion to either block edge defenders or insert block on linebackers. In addition, Loveland challenged defenses vertically down the field in 2023.

His ability to find the soft spots against zone coverage showcases his feel for the passing game. Aside from a frustrating afternoon against Texas in 2024, Loveland was reliable during his time in school.

Loveland was forced to get on the same page with three different quarterbacks in 2024. Jack Tuttle, Davis Warren and Alex Orji all played at various points. Loveland’s football character should receive high marks. He played through a right shoulder injury that was surgically repaired in late January. We review Loveland’s skill-set through two seasons on campus. He shined in both years (2022-23) versus Ohio State, a game he missed this past season due to an undisclosed injury.
