Houston’s Paul following in footsteps of older brother

Can Patrick Paul follow in the footsteps of his older brother and earn at least one rookie start in 2024?
Patrick Paul has already been given the blueprint of how to make it in the NFL. The former Houston Cougars tackle -who earned first-team all-conference honors three years in a row (AAC, Big 12)- can lean on his older brother, Chris, a seven-game starter for the Washington Commanders in 2023.
The 6-foot-7-inch Paul earned first-team all-conference honors three years in a row between two different conferences (AAC, Big 12). His awareness is top-notch (see video below at 2:20 mark), as is the incredible 86 3/4-inch wingspan. That makes him tough to get around, and we find a comparable rookie option from the 2023 NFL Draft class. What rookie turned out to be one of the best offensive tackles in last year’s draft class?
Question marks around Paul include a tendency to sit down consistently and anchor his line in the sand. However, with that said, his blind side pass protection was a big reason for the Cougars success through the air. Want proof? The team averaged 32 touchdown passes per season over the last three campaigns.
