Jaylin Noel (pictured) earned Big 12 Co-Special Teams Player of the Year honors in 2024.
After catching 146 passes the past two seasons, where does former Iowa State wide receiver Jaylin Noel stack up in this year’s wide receiver class? Following a strong 2025 Senior Bowl week, Noel sought to put a stamp on his name at this weekend’s NFL Combine.
NFL Combine results (WR ranks):
Size: 5’10 194
Hand: 8 3/4″
Arm: 29 1/2″
10-yd: 1.52 (T-3rd)
40-yd: 4.39 (T-6th)
VJ: 41 1/2″ (T-1st)
BJ: 11’2″ (1st)
3-cone: 6.82 (T-5th)
20-yd SS: 4.17 (5th)
Bench Press: 23 reps (1st)
Noel ranked in the Top 5 at his position in six different categories. In addition, his combination of body control and route-running stood out during the on-field testing portion of the workout. Would anyone have guessed that Noel would have finished with 23 repetitions at 225 pounds on the bench press?
The Big 12’s Co-Special Teams Player of the Year could be in high demand for teams in search of receivers with special teams value. Could he develop into one of the top all-purpose specialists from this year’s draft class?
We analyze Noel’s game outside of T-shirts and shorts in our video breakdown. Many of the same characteristics that stood out during the 2025 NFL Combine are present in his film review.
