Missouri’s Darius Robinson: Winning Lottery ticket in this year’s draft?

1 min read

Missouri defensive lineman Darius Robinson was one of the SEC's best defensive lineman in 2023.

Former Missouri defensive end Darius Robinson played up-and-down the team’s defensive front during his time in school. His sack production went to another level in 2023, as he concluded with a career-high (8.5) in that category. Robinson’s ability to hold the point of attack versus the run comes with few question marks.

Some NFL teams may view the late surge in quarterback take downs as a potential negative. Is he a one-year wonder?

Injuries have been a factor, and those crept up during his senior campaign. Robinson’s work, however, includes repetitions as a two-or-three-technique defensive tackle and inside-shaded defensive end (three-man front). That versatility makes him attractive for a number of different NFL teams. He is not scheme-dependent.

We investigate Robinson’s film from this past season in performances against LSU and Memphis. In addition, we rewind back to his 2021 Armed Forces Bowl performance versus Army.
