2025 NFL Free Agency, Live Updates: NFC East

7 min read

Zack Baun (No. 53 pictured making tackle vs. Dallas in 2024) earned first-team All-Pro honors.

The NFC East -after largely disappointing in 2023- featured the two best teams in the NFC this past season. The Washington Commanders faced off against the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game. Those two teams have a number of looming free agent decisions to make over the next few weeks.

In New York, the Giants parted ways with quarterback Daniel Jones during the season after he got the coveted long-term extension. The decision to let Saquon Barkley hit free agency…and walk….could be a topic of discussion for years after he won a championship with the Eagles. The Cowboys could be in the market for a running back in free agency…or do they attack the position in the draft? New head coach Brian Schottenheimer paid his dues to get to this position. Could he be the answer for the team?
