2025 NFL Free Agency, Live Updates: NFC North
6 min read
Minnesota Vikings cornerback Byron Murphy (seen picking off a pass against Atlanta on 12-8-24), made his first Pro Bowl in 2025 after finishing with 81 tackles, 6 TFLs, 6 INTs and 14 PBUs. Can the Vikings retain him in free agency?
The 2025 NFC North free agency/offseason period should be exciting. The Chicago Bears are going to be on the clock to see if its new head coach can dial up plays to match the wizardry of its 2024 number one overall draft pick. Then the team added a former head coach to be its defensive coordinator.
What will the Vikings do with and free agent Pro Bowl quarterback Sam Darnold? The team didn’t take long to lock up its star head coach Kevin O’Connell, the 2024 AP NFL Coach of the Year. The Lions lost their offensive coordinator to the aforementioned team in the same division, and also lost its defensive coordinator to the New York Jets. Please come back for more updates as this is a live document.
