Kedon Slovis led six fourth quarter comebacks over the course of his five-year collegiate career.
BYU Cougars signal-caller Kedon Slovis spread the football around to the likes of current NFL receivers Amon-Ra St. Brown, Michael Pittman, Jr. and Drake London while at USC. Prior to arriving in Los Angeles, Slovis was coached by NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner at Desert Mountain High School (Ariz.).
The former Trojan produced a 2019 Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year campaign that included a litany of comeback performances. Since transferring to Pittsburgh in 2022, the communications graduate’s career has fluctuated to a large degree. The flashes of the earlier brilliance have been mixed in with durability issues. After leading BYU to a 5-3 start in 2023, he missed the team’s final four games due to injury.

Slovis (6’2 1/2″, 223) posted the fastest 40-yard dash (4.55) of any quarterback at the 2024 NFL Combine. In addition, he threw the ball impressively during the on-field portion of the workout.
We look back at Slovis’ career and analyze his 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl week performance in our video breakdown. Can Slovis stay healthy and regain the earlier career form at USC?
