In one of this season’s most exciting SEC offensive showcases, Texas A&M defeated Arkansas 45-42 in Fayetteville. The teams combined for just four punts, 1,024 yards of total offense, 54 first downs and nine touchdowns.
Razorbacks senior quarterback Taylen Green was up to the challenge. The former Boise State signal-caller passed for 256 yards and three touchdowns of his own. On several occasions, the Aggies were unable to keep up with his stride length outside the pocket. Despite rushing for two touchdowns on 12 carries, 48 of Green’s 133 rushing yards were subtracted by four sacks (three in the fourth quarter).
