Three different running backs scored touchdowns for North Texas. Redshirt freshman QB Drew Mestemaker finished with just five incompletions on the afternoon (24-of-29 for 211 yards, 4 TDs). Linebacker Shane Whitter led the Mean Green defense with eight tackles, one tackle for loss and a 43-yard interception return.
