The Los Angeles Lakers added Indiana’s Jalen Hood-Schifino, a strong presence at guard with upside as a defender, 17th overall in the first round of the 2023 NBA Draft. Hood-Schifino’s 216-pound frame and 6-foot-10-inch wingspan aids him as a solid rebounding guard. The former Team Thad Nation AAU star and Big Ten Freshman of the Year has been excelled at both guard spots since his prep level playing days.

The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native starred at Montverde Academy (Fla.) as a prep level star before signing with the Hoosiers.We dive into the all-around game of the former five-star recruit from the summer of 2021 while performing in both the Elite 32 Atlanta and Nike EYBL Peach Jam.
