2026 NFL Free Agency, Live Updates: AFC East
7 min read
New York Jets RB Breece Hall (pictured vs. Buffalo in 2023) cleared the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the first time in 2025.
In what may come as a surprise to some, the AFC East heads into 2026 free agency on the heels of a Super Bowl appearance. An active 2025 free agency period contributed greatly to the New England Patriots making that trip. As a result, head coach Mike Vrabel now sports a very respectable 5-4 playoff record.
Elsewhere, the New York Jets are still searching for success after hitting the reset button a season ago with its first year coach. They started the offseason with a blockbuster trade in hopes of solidifying a leaky run defense. Miami turned the page on an offensive wizard to grab a defensive-minded coach. Finally, can the Buffalo Bills clear the Super Bowl hurdle with a familiar voice?
We go over all of the signings in this live document over the next month. Each team’s free agent list and transactions are listed below.
