2026 NFL Free Agency Live Updates: AFC North
6 min read
Former Houston Texans RT Tytus Howard was traded to the Cleveland Browns in March 2026. He went on to sign a two-year extension with the Browns. Howard has started at least 16 games in three of the last four seasons.
The 2026 AFC North free agency period started with multiple coaching changes. The division should enter next season with a fresh look. In fact, three teams have a new head man in charge. The Cincinnati Bengals were the only team to not change head coaches. With that said, the offensive-driven Bengals could lose its best defensive chess piece.
Pittsburgh begins 2026 with a different head coach for the first time in nearly two decades. Could a possible reunion take place between that coach and his former quarterback?
The Browns have been hamstrung with the contract of Deshaun Watson for a few years. He’s still with the team. They did not, however, retain its two-time coach of the year. In fact, its next head coach came from within the division.
We update the AFC North’s free agency and offseason moves on a daily basis.
