Alabama’s Bernard ranks as reliable option | 2026 NFL Draft film review

Alabama WR Germie Bernard (pictured blocking UT LB Jeremiah Telander) ranks as one of the most versatile receivers in this year's draft class.
Former Alabama wide receiver Germie Bernard enters the 2026 NFL Draft as one of its most reliable prospects. This could come as a surprise for a prospect who has played at three different stops (Alabama, Washington, Michigan State). He has a solid feel for both the pass and run game. This could endear him to teams in search of receivers who like to mix it up in the blocking aspect.
The 2021 Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year knows what it takes to be successful. His off the field exploits go back to those prep level days, when he volunteered as a youth football coach. In addition, his work with various homeless shelters and food banks throughout the area was widely respected.
On the field, that same level of relentlessness shows up week-to-week. We spotlight a couple of his games in our film review.
