2026 NFL Free Agency, Live Updates: NFC East

6 min read
Philadelphia vs. Dallas, 11-10-24

Eagles LB Nakobe Dean (pictured about to tackle Rico Dowdle in 2024) recovered from injury to start eight games for Philadelphia in 2025. Will the team re-sign him in free agency?

The NFC East largely disappointed in 2025 and head into a critical 2026 NFL Free Agency period. The Washington Commanders took a huge step back after quarterback Jayden Daniels went through an injury-plagued sophomore campaign. One year after winning the Super Bowl, the Philadelphia Eagles lost a home playoff game to the San Francisco 49ers. Both organizations have a number of looming free agent decisions to make over the next month-and-a-half.

In New York, the Giants parted ways with head coach Brian Daboll during the season. In January, the team hired former Ravens head coach John Harbaugh to reinvigorate the franchise. The Cowboys endured a tumultuous season and still face a huge decision on wide receiver George Pickens. After placing the franchise tag on Pickens, can they agree to terms with him on a long-term extension?

We update all the transactions through free agency. Teams can begin the negotiation period on March 9, 2026.
