Despite four victories, 2019 proved to be an inconsistent campaign for the former McLennan CC star at Auburn (5.97 ERA). Horn settled down considerably through his first four starts in 2020 (3-1, 2.08 ERA). In fact, the Texas native averaged 1.59 strikeouts per inning as a redshirt junior. In Horn’s final career start, he notched 11 strikeouts against Chicago State in early March. The White Sox took the 6-foot-2, 212-pound Tigers left-hander in the fifth round of the 2020 MLB Draft (142nd overall).
