Zuhn III ready to make NFL leap | 2026 NFL Draft film review

Former Texas A&M All-SEC offensive tackle Trey Zuhn III may be the smartest lineman in the 2026 NFL Draft. Further proof is that Zuhn III switched back and forth between tackle and center during games (see video below).

Aside from making the line’s checks at center, he also assisted fellow linemen when aligned at the offensive tackle spot.
The 2025 SEC Jacobs Trophy Blocking Award co-winner has been starting at the left tackle spot since 2022. This past season saw him also earn over 100 repetitions at the center position. He protrudes his 6-foot-6-inch frame on angle blocks and exhibits balance on the edge. When aligned inside or outside, he can reach defenders with above average footwork.
At Texas A&M’s Pro Day on Wednesday (3-25-26), he flashed significant lower body explosiveness. Zuhn III posted a 32-inch vertical jump and 9-foot-3-inch broad jump. In addition, he ran the 40-yard dash in the 5.0-second range.
Did we forget to mention that Zuhn III led all offensive lineman at the NFL Combine with 33 bench press repetitions (at 225 lbs)?
Those numbers, however, tell just part of the story for the talented 50-game starter. 45 of those 50 starts were made consecutively to conclude his career.
Many of the team captain’s starts were made in conjunction with his fellow offensive linemen. In Zuhn III’s view, the group’s connectivity was an added bonus.
“We just got such a great bond and you know, so many reps together, so many reps banked together that we are just one unit.”
