2024 NFL Free Agency, Live Updates: AFC East

6 min read

Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins (No. 73 pictured blocking) has made three consecutive Pro Bowls for the team. He recently signed an extension to stay with the team.

The AFC East’s 2024 free agency/offseason period began with a couple of subtractions from the head coaching ranks. The New England Patriots parted ways with Bill Belichick and opted for one of his proteges in Jerod Mayo. They continued the overhaul by trading away 2021 first-round pick Mac Jones to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In New York, it has been relatively quiet to start the free agency period. As we continue to chart the transactions, is that a trend set to continue? So far the Bills have lost a starting wide receiver but kept Josh Allen’s blindside protector in town for the foreseeable future. Where will the Bills go in the draft after trading away its other starting wide receiver to the Houston Texans?
