Former LSU OF Brayden Jobert (No. 6 pictured), a 12th round pick of the St. Louis Cardinals, intends to sign with the team and not return to LSU in 2024.
The St. Louis Cardinals signed 12th-round pick (365th overall) Brayden Jobert and he will not return to LSU In 2024.
The former Tigers and Nicholls State product posted a heartfelt Instagram message on July 17th thanking the LSU staff and informing the program of his intentions to pursue his professional career.
The 6-foot-2, 209-pound outfielder/designated hitter went 4-for-7 in Game 3 of the College World Series victory against Florida and totaled eight bases. Jobert batted .301 with 14 homers and 49 RBI for the national champion Tigers in 2023 after finishing second on the team with 18 home runs in 2022.
