Halvorsen headed to the Mile High Club

Halvorsen (on the mound pitching) stood out for Missouri as a pitcher/outfielder before settling into a reliever's role for the Vols.
Former Missouri centerfielder/pitcher Seth Halvorsen acquitted himself well for the Tennessee Volunteers in 2023, enjoying his best season since his 2021 campaign at Missouri. The former Tigers outfielder embraced a reliever role with Tennessee and quickly became one of the staff’s better secondary options.
He contains a deft slider, fastball with movement and a secondary off-speed offering that baffled some hitters in the SEC.
The Colorado Rockies made Halvorsen the 202nd overall pick in the seventh round of the 2023 MLB Draft. The 2018 Gatorade Minnesota Player of the Year was previously selected in the 30th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins and in the 19th round of the 2021 MLB Draft by the Philadelphia Phillies.
