Colorado Buffaloes junior quarterback Shedeur Sanders has been spectacular since arriving on the collegiate scene in 2021. During that season, he won the FCS Jerry Rice Award as the nation’s best freshman and played well beyond his years. In fact, he passed for 3,231 yards (66%) with 30 touchdowns to just eight interceptions.
The passing numbers improved exponentially in 2022 (3,732 yards, 40 TDs, 6 INTs) in large part due to his sharp field vision and football intelligence. Above all else, however, Sanders’ improved mobility and pocket presence may have shined brightest.
