2024 NFL Free Agency, Live Updates: NFC East

6 min read

Former New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley, pictured, is staying in the NFC East after agreeing to terms with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The NFC East largely disappointed in 2023, so they have several important decisions to make in the next couple of weeks. The New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones got the coveted long-term extension a year ago, but this year the team decided to let Saquon Barkley hit free agency…and he walked. In 2023, the Cowboys placed the franchise tag on all-purpose running back Tony Pollard, but now could they face the same fate as the Giants in the 2024 free agency period? The answer ended up being…yes.
