Reilly lands close to hometown as fifth-rounder in Pittsburgh
1 min readThe Pittsburgh Pirates continued to draft arms with its fifth-round selection (140th overall) of Vanderbilt RHP Patrick Reilly, a burly 6-foot-4, 230-pound hurler. Reilly’s ERA has always hovered around five and he started just 14 games in 49 career appearances.

Reilly finished with a 2.01 career strikeout-to-walk ratio, which borders along the cutoff spot for some major league clubs.
